• Ep.4 How to Break the Cycle of Self-Sabotage and Build a Life You Actually Love, With Steph Ellen Diplock
    Aug 17 2023

In this episode, I am joined by Steph from Finding Flow State. Steph is a self-sabotage and perfectionism coach who helps high achievers get out of their own way, stop procrastinating and start taking messy action.

Together, we explore the underlying causes of self-sabotage, what keeps us stuck in procrastination, and why it's so difficult to get out of. We talk about things like sabotaging relationships, inability to move forward with creative tasks, binge eating, and what to do when that inner critic gets too loud.

We also share practical tips and strategies on how to break free from these patterns, how to figure out what you really want in life, and what you can do to finally step fully into your true authentic self.

  • Ep.3: Stuck Emotions Wreaking Havoc on Our Body, Mind, and Relationships
    Jun 20 2023

In this solo episode, I talk about all things emotions, feeling our feelings, and why this is SO important, for both our mental health, as well as our physical health, gut health, relationships, all the things.

Most of us have been programmed to think that it's not okay to express big emotions like anger, sadness, etc. It's not really socially acceptable, so instead of expressing ourselves and moving through the waves of emotions, we repress them, push them down, we swallow the tears, take a deep breath and distract ourselves from anger, eat another cookie instead of feeling the loneliness.. But the feelings don't go away, they just build on the inside, in silence.

In this episode, I share some of the tools that have helped me on my own personal journey to expressing myself and my emotions more freely, and releasing all of that built up tension I had been holding on to for so long. Many of the techniques I share in this episode are things I have learned through working with my coach, Dominey Drew. • Ep.2: IBS and Gut Health With Christine Olivo From MyIBSLife
    Jun 5 2023

In today's episode, I am joined by Christine Olivo. She is a social media content creator who has been living with Irritable Bowel Syndrome since 2007. Struggling to manage the pain, anxiety and loneliness that comes with IBS, Christine created an Instagram account called MyIBSLife in June of 2019, as a way to cope through humor. Her page has now become a home and community to more than 66,000 chronic illness warriors who are looking to be heard, understood and validated.

We get into the nitty gritty of all the un-glamorous things about living with IBS. We talk triggers, symptoms, awkward social settings, being misunderstood by medical professionals, dating with gut issues, diarrhea in Barnes & Noble, unpredictable flare-ups, superheroes with IBS, foods we're willing to flare for, and how to introduce new people to your gut issues, plus we both share some handy tips and tricks for reducing symptoms and making living with a gut issue a bit more bearable.
